Indian Minorities Foundation organizes Swachhta Seva Abhiyan at Mansa Devi Temple

On January 15, 2024, the Indian Minorities Foundation (IMF) organized a cleanliness drive called ‘Swachhta Seva Abhiyan’ at Mata Mans Devi Temple in Chandigarh. Over 500 members of different communities, including Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, and NSS volunteers of Chandigarh University, participated in this mega drive. The event was organized to join the celebration of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 and the ‘Swachh Mandir’ (Clean Temple) call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The delegation of IMF comprised members of the Muslim community, Sikh community, Jain community, and Christian community, led by Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chancellor Chandigarh University, and Convener, Indian Minorities Foundation. Special prayers and Nav Grah Puja were also performed by head priests of Mansa Devi Temple on the occasion for the Prime Minister’s good health and success of his vision of a developed India by 2047.

Different communities come together to celebrate Ram Temple’s consecration ceremony in Ayodhya

Members of different communities, including Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, and Jains, joined hands to celebrate the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, after a long wait of 550 years. They expressed appreciation towards Prime Minister Modi’s philosophy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayaas,’ saying that due to the consecration ceremony at Ayodhya, a festive spirit has engulfed the entire Bharat, and all the communities have joined hands to celebrate the homecoming of Lord Ram.

The Jain community is standing with Hindu brothers for the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, which has become a festival and celebration in the whole country. Speaking on the occasion, Jain community member, KK Sharma, said, “We are celebrating the completion of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya which was pending for about 500 years.”

Muslims also joined the ‘Swachh Mandir’ campaign and lauded Prime Minister Modi for ensuring ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.’ A Muslim, Noor Ali, said, “PM Modi is the only Prime Minister who has taken people of all communities together with his idea of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.’”
