Megastar Amitabh Bachchan Buys Land in Ayodhya for INR 14.5 Crore
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has purchased a piece of land measuring approximately 930 square meters (10,000 square feet) in Ayodhya, a few days before the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Lord Ram’s temple, scheduled to take place on January 22, 2022. The officials confirmed the news on Monday. The plot is located near the Valmiki airport and is part of the upcoming project of the House of AB, which is being developed by HOBABHL Mumbai. The site is just 15 minutes away from the Ram temple and 30 minutes away from the new Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.
The legendary actor said that he is excited to start his journey in Ayodhya with “The House of AB” and “The Saryu – The Global Spiritual Capital,” which holds a special place in his heart. Ayodhya’s timeless spirituality and cultural richness have created an emotional connection beyond geographic boundaries. The Chairman of HOBABHL, Abhinandan Lodha, expressed his excitement over the investment of Bachchan, which demonstrates his belief in the city’s economic capacity and deep appreciation for its spiritual heritage.
The Saryu project is worth INR 1,200 crore and is scheduled to be completed by March 2028, in line with HOBABHL’s commitment to invest INR 1,200 crore in Ayodhya, made during the UP Investors’ Summit in July 2023. The project includes a 7-star rated 51-acre mixed-use complex, “The Saryu – The Global Spiritual Capital,” being developed by HOBABHL Mumbai near the banks of the Sarayu river. The investment also includes other parts and projects.
