Recently, a Congress delegation led by Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Rai visited Ayodhya to take part in the Ram Lalla darshan and Sarayu river bathing. However, an unpleasant situation arose when some individuals tried to tear apart the Congress flag outside the Ram Temple. Congress Mahila Prabhari in Ayodhya, Renu Rai, condemned this act and called it shameful and condemnable.
Ram Mandir Opening
The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is set to open soon with the Pran Pratishtha ceremony scheduled to begin from tomorrow, i.e., 15 February, and last until 22 February. Despite the Congress party’s top leaders declining the invitation to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, the Uttar Pradesh Congress unit led by Ajay Rai is set to continue its planned trip to Ayodhya. Dheeraj Gurjar, National Secretary in charge of Uttar Pradesh, and other senior Congress leaders have also joined Rai in Ayodhya.
